Poverty is not allowed!!

POVERTY SHOULD BE STOP!

Poverty is the common problem of the Philippines!

What is poverty?

Poverty is the most common problem in the whole world especially in the Philippines. Poverty includes low incomes and the inability to acquire the basic goods and services necessary for survival with dignity. Poverty also encompasses low levels of health and education, poor access to clean water and sanitation, inadequate physical security, lack of voice, and insufficient capacity and opportunity to better one’s life. 

Poverty means lack of basic capacity to participate effectively in society. It also means not having enough to feed and clothes a family, not having a school or clinic to go to, not having the land on which to grow one’s food or a job to earn one’s living, not having access to credit. It means insecurity, powerlessness and exclusion of individuals, households and communities. It means susceptibility to violence, and it often implies living in marginal or fragile environments, without access to clean water or sanitation.

The effects of poverty

1. Health- Those living in poverty suffer disproportionately from hunger or even starvation and disease.

2. Hunger- Poor person spend a greater portion of their budgets on food than richer people. As a result, poor households and those near the poverty threshold can be particularly vulnerable to increases in food prices. 

3. Housing- Poverty increase the risk of the homeless.

4. Education- These children are at a higher risk than other children for retention in their grade, special treats during the school's hours and even not completing their high school education. There are indeed many explanations for why students tend to drop out of school.

5 Violence- According to experts, many women become victims of trafficking, the most common form of which is prostitution, as a means of survival and economic desperation.

These is how to prevent poverty

To prevent poverty we need first prevent overpopulation. For me, Let people know that it is out there and let them know what they can do to help. There should be sufficient resources for a poor man to earn money for themselves. Government should make some criteria, that poor people become able to start their own work. If they will have some money then they can sell fruits and any other vegetable. If each and every person of the country will work and earn money then poverty can be removed easily. Government also have to control the inflation, because when poor people will spend all of their money on food and basic things like milk for children, then how their poverty will be removed. When the cost of the basic needs of life will be less then, it will be a big relief for the poor people.
